The most powerful resource in a classroom is students’ diverse imaginations, observations, hopes, and dreams. Including Hip Hop Music within your curriculum is a culturally responsive and powerful method for student engagement, empowerment, and achievement. In this interactive virtual workshop, we will explore the history of hip hop, its elements, and critical narratives as a means to connect directly to students’ identity development, social consciousness, self-reflection, and collective knowledge production. learn more

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS: Registration is quick, easy, and secure. Select your registration option at left. Major credit and debit cards may be used. You will then be prompted through the registration and secure payment process. We use Paypal's payment portal. You do not need a Paypal account. Look carefully and select the option to pay with debit/credit card.

For multi-person TEAM registrations please select add "guest(s)" after you complete your initial registration information. Place holder names may be used and participants may be replaced later. Full payment must be made at the time of registration.

No registrations can be accepted without payment. Sorry, no exceptions. This event has a no cancellation policy. If you are unable to attend we will provide a credit to a future CWI event. Submission of your registration authorizes Community Works Institute (CWI) and its event partners to publish photos or video of participants.
